Breaking the Silence: An Anthology of Women's Literature is a collection of prose, poetry, fiction and drama by women writers across centuries and cultures. The book has been designed as a textbook for Core Course: Women's Writing (Semester Six) of the Undergraduate students of English Language and Literature Programme of the University of Kerala. The primary objective is to introduce students to the rich repertoire of female creativity which has been eclipsed by patriarchal domination.
