The revised edition of New On Board! English Language & Literature 10 offers assistance and guidance to students preparing for the Class 10 CBSE Examination. This practice book is based on the latest Secondary School Curriculum and has been developed in accordance with the guidelines of NCF 2023. It shows how the questions in each section should be attempted for the exam and gives ample opportunity to the students to become proficient and confident in writing their answers. However, On Board! is not written from the standpoint of examinations only. It has the objective of developing in the students the ability to do reading, writing and vocabulary tasks on their own. Students are encouraged to use the dictionary and infer the meaning of words and phrases from the context. Tips for developing writing skills include practical, tried and tested strategies. Content development has also been dealt with wherever required.GRAMMAR It supports the students with quick revision and practice material. The Grammar Notes have been provided to facilitate student autonomy. The worksheets and practice material are based strictly on the examination pattern.LANGUAGE THROUGH LITERATURE It offers a variety of questions from poetry, prose and drama.
